Ceres Police on Friday arrested a Hughson man who was wanted on a felony warrant for his arrest related to drug charges.

At approximately midnight Officer Angel Diaz was patrolling the 2900 block of Whitmore Avenue when he observed James Wiggins, 64, inside the Rocket gas station at 2954 Whitmore Ave. Familiar with Wiggins, Officer Diaz knew him to have a felony warrant related to drug charges. Officer Diaz walked into the store and arrested Wiggins for the warrant. He was transported and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
