Two Ceres teenagers were arrested Tuesday evening, April 24 after they fled from a stolen car that crashed into a parked car in the area of Azores and Paris Way in Ceres.

At 10:18 p.m. Ceres Police were notified that a stolen white Honda Civic crashed with three occupants scattering. Other reports came into the dispatch center about males jumping fences and running through back yards.

Officer Jessica Graham spoke to the owner of the Honda who stated his vehicle had just been stolen. She located two witnesses to the crash who saw the vehicle speeding before hitting the parked car.

Officers Kevin Sakasegawa and Coey Henson located two of the juveniles, 15- and 16-year-old Ceres residents, believed to be in the car. The witnesses positively identified both of having run from the Honda.

A third suspect, described as a Hispanic male with long black hair, eluded police.

Both juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall without incident for felony auto theft and possession of stolen property.

The stolen car was returned to its owner.
