A 55-year-old Keyes man was arrested Sunday evening on drunken driving charges after he was pulled over in the area of Hackett Road and Railroad Avenue.

At 10:31 p.m., Officer Charles Lord-Huff pulled over Ivan Fletcher, the driver of a Nissan Altima, for vehicle code violations. Officer Lord-Huff suspected that Fletcher was under the influence of alcohol which triggered a DUI investigation. After a field sobriety test, Fletcher was arrested for DUI. A breath sample indicated blood alcohol content more than double the legal limit for an adult to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Fletcher was later booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
