Lane weaver arrested for DUI

A 32-year-old man was arrested early Saturday for DUI after Ceres Police Officer Vince Hooper saw the car in front of him weaving.

Hooper was on patrol in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Mitchell Road at 2:06 a.m. when he saw the car in front of him weaving all over the road. After stopping the car in the 3600 block of Mitchell Road, Officer Hooper approached Noe Salazar-Gonzalez, 32, of Ceres, and noticed signs that he was drunk. After a series of field sobriety tests, Salazar-Gonzalez was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Noe's Blood Alcohol Concentration was 0.16 percent. He was booked for driving under the influence and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.
