A 35-year-old Ceres man was arrested Tuesday morning, April 26 when a Ceres Police officer found out about his no-bail felony warrant issued by the California Department of Corrections.

At 9:57 a.m., Officer Jesus Salinas was investigating a theft at the AM/PM at 1700 E. Hatch Road and while investigating found Christopher Allen Smith. After he ran Smith’s identity, records indicated he was wanted.

Smith was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the warrant.
