A 27-year-old Modesto man was arrested along with five juveniles during a Ceres traffic stop made on a stolen vehicle on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 3.

At 6:42 p.m., Officer Charles Lord-Huff was patrolling the area of Hatch and Herndon roads when he located a silver-colored Dodge Ram reported as stolen. As additional officers arrived, Officer Lord-Huff conducted a high-risk traffic stop on the vehicle. At gunpoint, six occupants were called out of the vehicle with five of them being juveniles.

A gun that wasn’t registered and had no serial number, commonly called a “ghost gun,” was found in between the front passenger seat and the center console.

All six occupants were arrested for the firearm possession while one of the juvenile males was additionally arrested for auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Jojo De Jesus, 27, of Modesto was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center while the five juveniles were booked into the Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall.
