A man who was on probation for possession of a stolen vehicle and a misdemeanor warrant for theft, was jailed Monday evening after he was stopped in a stolen Ford Explorer.
At 6:45 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Angel Murillo was in the area of Lupin Lane and Fowler Road when the stolen vehicle was spotted. Officer Murillo conducted a high-risk stop on the sole occupant, Kenneth McWilliam, 50, of Modesto. He was arrested. McWilliam was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, auto theft, probation violation and the misdemeanor warrant.
