Although he had $120 to spend on his EBT card, transient Taylor Johnathan, 49, was caught allegedly trying to steal the same monetary amount of items from Cost Less Foods the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Police said Johnathan entered the store on Hatch Road at 7:34 p.m. and attempted to walk out with $120 worth of groceries.

He was booked for theft.
