Hilario Villa Sosa, 40, is being held in the Stanislaus County Jail on $1 million bail after being arrested by Ceres Police for allegedly molesting two girls.

Child Protective Services called Ceres Police on Nov. 2 indicating they were investigating a possible child molest case involving two female juveniles in the 2800 block of Fowler Road. Information was developed to sustain the allegations and Sosa was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for committing sexual acts with a child under 10 years of age and continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Sosa was arrested in Ripon on Friday.
