On his way to Ceres police headquarters to report his vehicle was stolen, a Ceres resident spotted it going down the road on Sunday and then called 911as he followed it. Police quickly responded at 2:15 p.m. and found the car and driver in the 1300 block of Richland Avenue.

Fidell Arreola, 34, of Ceres, was arrested during a felony traffic stop. During the search, police found that Arreola had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was also driving without a license.

Arreola was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and driving without license.
