Rolando Solorio, 21, of Ceres, was arrested twice on Dec. 23, once for battery and the second time for making criminal threats involving the same victim.

A 38-year-old resident of Homestead Mobile Home Park, 2513 Don Pedro Road, called police to report that Solorio made threats against him after the victim confronted him earlier in the day to say he did not appreciate Solorio stealing others' Christmas gifts. The confrontation led to a fight in which Solorio was arrested for battery.

Solorio was arrested and booked but posted bail and was released the same day.

Later that evening, at 8:45 p.m., the victim was outside talking to a neighbor when Solorio showed up out of nowhere and threatened to shoot his house. The victim, fearing that Solorio would carry out the threat, called police a second time and had him arrested for making criminal threats while on bail. Solorio became combative and threatened to fight officers. When he was placed in the patrol car, Solorio began to slam his head on the Plexiglas divider. He was restrained to prevent injuries, driven to the County Jail and booked.
