A 49-year-old Ceres man who was wanted for several warrants relating to pending charges of attempted robbery and drug offenses was arrested after an officer spotted him Wednesday morning.

Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the area of Service and Mitchell roads at 10:23 a.m. when he spotted John Freeman at the rear of the Blue Horse Lounge. Officer Souza was aware that Freeman was wanted and placed him under arrest. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center without incident.
