Ceres Police arrested a 54-year-old Ceres man Friday on a drug warrant but also found him in possession of a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine.

The arrest came at 9:18 p.m. when Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the area of Mitchell Road near Mitchell Plaza and spotted Julio Sarabia walking along the sidewalk. Officer Souza swooped in and made the arrest. A pat down search turned up the pipe.

Sarabia was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
