A Ceres Police officer’s quick actions on Tuesday, Nov. 25, resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old Ceres man who was wanted on weapons violation charges.

Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the area of Industrial Way and Spruce Avenue at 9:16 a.m. when he spotted Leonardo Garcia walking along the roadway. He was familiar with Garcia and his felony warrant and made the arrest.
