A 24-year-old Modesto man wanted on a felony warrant for his arrest related to narcotic sales was arrested Sunday while riding his bicycle. A search turned up a baggy containing a white crystalline substance suspected of being methamphetamine as well as a glass pipe used for smoking it.
Ceres Police Officer Eric Souza spotted and recognized Jesus Olivera Rojas, 24, of Modesto at approximately 1:16 p.m. in the area of Whitmore Avenue and El Dorado Drive.
Rojas was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the felony warrant, and new charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
