Jeffery Naylor, 45, of Modesto racked up multiple felony charges early Tuesday, Feb. 17, after he fled from Ceres Police and was eventually captured and found with drugs.
At approximately 1:47 a.m., new Officer Gary Singh was in the area of River Road near Seventh Street when he attempted to stop Naylor driving a Buick Park Avenue for vehicle code violations. A search of Naylor turned up two baggies containing a white crystalline substance suspected of being methamphetamine as well as two glass pipes commonly used for smoking methamphetamine.
Naylor was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors, driving on a license suspended for DUI, the two felony warrants and evading police in a vehicle.
