Two persons known to police were arrested Friday afternoon as they walked from the Dollar Store in the 1300 block of Hatch Road, one wanted for a warrant and the other for drugs.

At 1:45 p.m. David Larimer, 47, of Modesto, and Bobbie Mills, 30, of Riverbank, were spotted by an officer who recognized Mills from previous police contacts. Mills had a no-bail felony warrant for possession of controlled substance. She was arrested on the warrant while Larimer was on probation and searchable for drugs. He was found with a hypodermic needle containing heroin. He was booked for narcotics violations and probation violation.
