A 38-year-old Modesto woman who was riding in a car stopped in Ceres for expired registration was arrested Saturday due to her felony warrant.
At approximately 1:54 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Tyler Wilson was on patrol in the area of Nadine Avenue and Musick Drive when he stopped the driver of a Mercedes for expired registration tags. During the stop, discovered that occupant Whitney Steeves had an active felony warrant for her arrest.
Officer Wilson took Steeves into custody and booked her into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
