An early Friday traffic stop of the driver of an Infiniti G37 for vehicle code violations resulted in a passenger being arrested because of her a felony warrant related to narcotics.

At 1:45 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Kyle Hatcher was patrolling the area of Hatch Road near Church Lane when he made the stop and ran a check of the driver and passenger Elizabeth Garcia, 37, of Modesto. She was arrested for the warrant and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
