Omar Verduzco, 23, of Modesto was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant issued by San Pablo after the driver of the car he was riding in was pulled over for reckless driving on Friday evening. 

At 11:03 p.m., Officer Matthew Johnson saw a yellow Ford Mustang peeling out when a stoplight turned green at Richland Avenue and Hatch Road. The back end of the car swung wide into another lane as the vehicle accelerated. Officer Johnson stopped the vehicle and learned that Verduzco was wanted. 

He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
