A police officer saw Michael Ledbetter, 43, of Ceres, walking in the middle of the road at Herndon and Ploutz roads and stopped him and quickly learned he had methamphetamine in his pockets.

At 11:51 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, Ledbetter allowed the officer to search him for contraband and the meth was found on him.

Ledbetter was arrested and booked for possession of meth.
