A man was robbed of his wallet and cell phone outside the Hatch Road Kmart store on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and police are hoping tips come in from the public to help in the apprehension of two men who committed the parking lot crime.

At 2:04 p.m. officers were dispatched to the store where a robbery was conducted by two Hispanic men estimated to be about 18 years of age. Both suspects had pony tails. After brandishing a pocket knife with a six-inch blade, the pair fled in an older dark faded green four-door sedan which went northbound on Herndon Road.

Detectives are asking for tips to be phoned into Detective Darren Venn at 538-5616.
