Report of suspicious men leads to drug arrests

A Tuesday, Dec. 1 report of two suspicious men hanging around a parking lot of a townhome complex ended with their arrests for drug possession.

Officer Jon Blount was dispatched to the 3500 block of Whitehaven Avenue at 4:34 p.m. and found Danny Devoe, 27, and Daniel Foletta, 41, both of Ceres, standing next to a Honda Civic and a motorcycle. A records check showed both men had outstanding arrest warrants. Devoe stated that the Honda was his and that there was methamphetamine in the center console. Officer Blount located a clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine. Also inside in the car were several hypodermic syringes, a bent spoon and other drug paraphernalia. 

Foletta was found to be on searchable probation. A clear plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine was found in his pocket. He was booked for possession of a controlled substance and the warrants.

Devoe was booked for the warrant and charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
