It’s a fairly common occurrence when police pull over a driver for committing a violation of the vehicle code only to be discovered to be intoxicated. Such was again the case early Saturday morning when Adan Flores Garrido, 21, of Sacramento was pulled over in the 4100 block of Mitchell Road.

Garrido was driving a Dodge Challenger and stopped by Ceres Police Sgt. Aaron Pinon at 1:06 a.m. The sergeant immediately suspected that Garrido was under the influence of alcohol so Officer Roger Khuon was called on scene to administer a series of field sobriety DUI which Garrido performed in a manner consistent with someone under the influence of alcohol.

Garrido was arrested for DUI and provided breath samples over the legal limit. He was booked into the Stanislaus County the Public Safety Center.
