A 48-year-old Modesto man who was stopped while riding a bicycle by an officer for code violations was arrested Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30.
At 1 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Lorenzo Beltran was patrolling the 3300 block of Fowler Road when he stopped Shay Gore, 48, of Modesto. A records check revealed Gore had a felony warrant for his arrest related to narcotics. He was arrested and a search of his clothing turned up a plastic baggy containing a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Gore was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the felony warrant along with possession of a controlled substance.
