Citizens' Wednesday, July 6 calls about a neighbor refusing to turn down loud music in the 1700 block of Weathervane Lane was resolved when the offender was arrested for public intoxication and obstructing a police officer.

Callers also said that Alejandro Gonzalez, 66, of Ceres, had been seen driving drunk up and down the street nearly hitting objects.

Sgt. Travis Hudson arrived at 10:54 p.m. and found Gonzalez sitting in a white pickup parked at the curb. When he saw Hudson he tried to run in the house but was detained. The officer determined Gonzalez to be too intoxicated to care for himself so he was transported to jail and charged.
