A bicyclist who was stopped Wednesday in the dark for failing to have lights on his bicycle was on probation and found with shaved car keys which are considered burglary tools.

An officer stopped John Timothy Brown on his bike at 8:08 p.m. in the 3400 block of Fowler Road. He was searched and found in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools. Brown was also charged with probation violation.
