A single-vehicle car crash in the intersection of Fourth and Magnolia streets ended with the arrest of the 22-year-old Ceres driver on a DUI charge.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:43 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Officer Eric Garcia responded to the crash and immediately suspected that driver Logan Kunze was under the influence of alcohol. Kunze was the subjected to field sobriety tests which were performed in a manner consistent with someone under the influence of alcohol. Kunze was arrested for DUI and breath samples he provided showed that he was double the legal limit. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
