A 21-year-old Stockton man who was pulled over by Ceres Police on Thursday morning, Nov. 13 was arrested due to an outstanding arrest warrant for burglary.

At 1:43 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Ian Perry was patrolling the 1700 block of Morgan Road when he stopped Andrew Acosta in a Nissan Altima for vehicle code violations. A records check revealed that Acosta was wanted to stand charges on a prior burglary charge. Acosta was arrested and he was booked into the Stanislaus County the Public Safety Center.
