A police officer patrolling on Whitmore Avenue at Ninth Street spotted a stolen vehicle at the gas pumps of the AM/PM Mini-Mart on Thursday evening and blocked in the driver to make an arrest.

At 7:30 p.m. Officer Jeremy Caron positioned his car in a way to observe the stolen 2007 Honda Pilot without being seen by the suspect. When the car began to pull away from the pumps, Caron blocked the car in and ordered out the driver and occupant as other Officers were arriving. The Honda was reported stolen out of Tracy.

The driver, Jessica Reyes, 26, of Gustine, was booked for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
