A bullet, that was likely fired a block or two away, found the door of a car parked in the 800 block of Musick Avenue on Sunday evening.

The owner of the car called police at 5:18 p.m. after finding a bullet hole in the driver's door. He said he remembered hearing gunshots at approximately 1 a.m. Police investigated and believe that the man and his property were not the intended target and suspect the bullet was randomly fired from north of Musick Avenue at street level.
Nobody else reported being victimized by bullets, said Ceres Police Department spokesman Sgt. Jose Berber.
