Suspect arrested for burglarizing business

A motion detector alarm caused police response to Access Electric in the 1900 block of Foundry Court last Wednesday evening, March 9 where a burglary suspect was located.

The alarm went off at 11:08 p.m. Officers arrived on scene and heard some activity inside the business perimeter. Officers Geirge Woodward and Kiashira Ruiz searched the grounds and located Gary Riley, 44, of Modesto, hiding in tall grass adjacent to the business. They found Riley's bicycle and backpack which was filled with loose wire he admitted stealing from the business.

Officers arrested Riley for burglary.
