Sgt. Joe Wren was attending to a civil matter in the 1900 block of Darrah Street on Thursday afternoon when he spotted a 17-year-old boy "playing peek a boo" from a couple of doors down. When Wren walked down his direction the boy took off running.

Wren decided to ask two persons about the boy but they were uncooperative. As he remained to hand out stickers to children, the teen reappeared from around the corner. The boy was smoking a marijuana cigarette and was detained for a probation search for theft and narcotics. The teen was found with a paper pen containing hash oil. He was arrested for possession of a narcotic at 3:41 p.m.
