Three men were arrested during a stop of a car that was blocking a crosswalk at Herndon and Pecos avenues on Friday evening.
Ceres Police Officer Eric Gallegos was on patrol at 8:34 p.m. when he saw the car and detained the three occupants, all whom were uncooperative and had open containers of alcohol. The suspects continued to be uncooperative until other officers arrived and were all taken out of the vehicle. Driver Isidro Perez 25, of Modesto, was booked for a warrant and for obstructing a police officer. Alexander Ramirez, 23, of Turlock, was booked for a warrant. Gilberto Suarez, 24, of Ceres, was booked for public intoxication. All three were booked in the County Jail.
