Three faces drug, weapons charges

Three Ceres residents are facing a variety of narcotic, property and weapons charges following their arrest on Thursday.

The suspects were apprehended through a search warrant produced after a months-long investigation by the Ceres Police patrol division supported by investigators.

Arrested were David Mendes, 38, Sabra McCurdy, 30, and Stoney Fisher, 37, all of Ceres.

During the serving of the search warrant at 9 a.m. in the 3800 block of Blaker Road, police located approximately 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine and 10.5 grams of heroin. In addition, a 9mm semi-auto handgun and a .380 semi-auto handgun were seized. The .380 semi-auto handgun had been previously reported as stolen to the Stanislaus County Sheriff Department.
