Graciela Candido, 57, of Tracy was arrested on the charge that she was intoxicated while driving in Ceres early Saturday morning.

At 12:19 a.m., Officer Angel Murillo was patrolling the area of Hackett Road and Esteban Avenue when he stopped Candido in her Ford Escape for vehicle code violations.

As soon as the window came down, Officer Murrillo detected the smell of alcohol as well as other indications that Candido was under the influence of alcohol. Officer Murillo conducted a DUI investigation in which a series of field sobriety tests confirmed she was under the influence of alcohol.

Candido was arrested for DUI and provided breath samples over the legal limit. She was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
