Code violations observed by Ceres Police Officer Isaac Carter on Tuesday morning, July 22 led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Modesto driver on a felony warrant for violating conditions of parole from prison.

At approximately 11:50 a.m., Officer Carter was patrolling the area of Service Road near Cornucopia Way when he stopped Carmella Alvarado in a Saturn for vehicle code violations. Officer Carter quickly learned that she was on parole and wanted for violations.

Alvarado was arrested on the warrant and taken the short distance away to be booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
