A Walmart store employee was arrested Saturday afternoon after a loss prevention officer caught him carrying out two iPads worth $950 out the store.

Ceres Police Sgt. Jose Berber said David Vega, 25, of Ceres, was observed stuffing the two items under a sweater after hiding them in a different area of the store. When he walked out at 2:46 p.m. he was caught.

Vega was arrested and charged with embezzlement.
