Walmart thief booked
Admits saying theft of $307 worth of goods was a 'bad decision'

Daniel Larson, 58, of Modesto, was booked for petty theft after he admitted stealing $307.30 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Thursday evening.

Store loss prevention officers nabbed Larson after he bypassed the check stand with a shopping cart with 37 items. Larson was stopped by staff who called police at 8:02 p.m. 

Larson told Officer Eric Souza that he “made a bad decision.”
