A 42-year-old Ceres man wanted on a felony warrant was apprehended last week.
Officer Nicolas Welsh was on patrol at 1:10 a.m. early Tuesday, Jan. 12 when he spotted a suspicious van with fogged over windows parked near the intersection of Ariano Lane and Mira Sol Drive. The van was occupied, and one of the occupants, David Jordan, 42, of Ceres, was on probation with had a felony warrant for his arrest issued by Oakdale Police. During a search of the van, Officer Welsh located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. Jordan admitted the drugs and paraphernalia belonged to him. He was arrested on new charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
