Wanted woman tasered at car wash

A 28-year-old woman was stunned by a police Taser gun on Saturday evening, March 14 after she was seen tampering with vacuum machines at the Hatch Road Prime Shine Car Wash and decided to run after it was discovered that she had arrest warrants.

Officer Thomas Miller was on patrol at 10:34 p.m. when he saw Deanna Webb tampering with the vacuums when the business was closed. Miller stopped to make sure Webb was not stealing anything or vandalizing the equipment. Miller began speaking to Webb who was found to have two outstanding warrants for her arrest. When Webb discovered she had the warrants for her arrest she decided to run away from Miller on foot. After chased Webb and telling her numerous times to stop, Officer Miller deployed his Taser to stop Webb. She was later booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for her outstanding warrants and for resisting arrest.
