Warned twice by police, aggressive panhandler arrested
Ceres Cop Car

Even though he was warned by officers twice within a two-hour period and ignored them, the aggressive panhandling of a 53-year-old transient led to his arrest on Tuesday evening, Feb. 2.

Police responded to two calls about Timothy Lambert wandering the area between the Chevron station on Mitchell Road and the Cruisers station. Each time they warned him to stop his activity and leave the area. The third call came at 8:38 p.m. This time Lambert was arrested and booked for misdemeanor panhandling.
