A Modesto woman whose driver’s license was suspended for a prior DUI conviction was caught driving again on Monday after she committed alleged vehicle code violations. Lilliam Miranda, 32, also had a felony arrest warrant related to a prior assault.
Making matters worse for her, when she was being booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, jail staff found Miranda carrying suspected cocaine.
The arrest came at approximately 8:51 a.m., when Ceres Police Officer Krandall Vandagriff was patrolling the area of Hatch and Moffett roads and stopped Miranda in a Toyota Corolla.
Miranda was booked for the felony warrant and new charges of driving on a license suspended for DUI. She also was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and smuggling a controlled substance into the jail facility.
