A 46-year-old Ceres woman who was screaming as she tried striking two individuals with a golf club on Friday afternoon was locked up in the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for assault with a deadly weapon.
At 4:14 p.m., Officer Gloria Blakeslee was dispatched to the 1700 block of Lois Way because Angelic Gaona, 46, of Ceres, was causing a disturbance and attempting to hit people with a golf club.
The officer learned that Gaona didn’t know the people she had charged at, however, the victims did ask Gaona to quiet down because she was screaming and yelling in the neighborhood.
