Woman goes to jail after interfering with medical aid call
Ceres Cop Car

Ceres Police arrested a woman who appeared to be on drugs and interfered with emergency personnel who were attending to a medical aid call at a home in the 2900 block of Sixth Street.

Someone at the home called 9-1-1 at 1:36 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13 about a medical problem a resident was having. Ceres firefighters and paramedics arrived but were hampered by Frances Wilson, 41, of Ceres, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers asked Wilson to move out of the way but she did not comply and became argumentative. Officers detained her and found she had three warrants for her arrest issued by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department. Wilson was arrested for the warrants and booked at the Public Safety Center.
