Police checked out a Dec. 18 report of a woman dressed in a wedding gown roaming the area of Mitchell Road peering into vehicles.

At 12:22 p.m. police found Maria Vivana Verduzco, 38, of Ceres, walking northbound in the southbound lane of Mitchell Road. The officer asked her to move to the side the road where they spoke. Maria had three outstanding misdemeanor warrants. She was booked at the county jail for the warrants.

She could not explain why she was dressed like a bride.
