Kenneth G. Strangio, a 2004 graduate of Ceres High School, recently graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.

Kenneth is the son of Bernadette and Doug Durossette of Ceres and Joseph Strangio of Tucson, Ariz.

After serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps - including two deployments to Iraq - Strangio began his studies under the GI Bill at Pima Community College earning an Associate of Science degree in 2011.

"Electrical Engineering has been rated, by some, to be the toughest degree to earn," said Strangio. "It was difficult but time actually flew by because I was working and studying so hard."

Strangio hopes to work for Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson or Gore Corporation in Flagstaff.
