A citizen called police Monday morning to report finding a strange man inside his car sleeping. When police showed up to investigate, Michael Bailey, 42, of Ceres was found with a small amount of cocaine.

Officer Jon Vera was sent to the 1400 block of Angie at 7 a.m. Officer Vera found Bailey in the driver seat and asked him to step out of the car but initially refused. When Officer Vera placed his hand on Bailey’s wrist to pull him out, Bailey cooperated.

Bailey was on probation and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
