Reports of a man knocking on doors of homes in the 900 block of Chardonnay Way on Tuesday evening, July 15, resulted in his arrest.

At 8:30 p.m. police were made aware of a man approaching residents and asking to be hidden inside and claiming that police were after him. The man, Justin Roman, 26, appeared to be under the extreme influence of a controlled substance. He was searched and found with a knife. Roman was refused at the county jail due to his medical condition so he was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Roman was cited for being under the influence and possession of a knife. He also had a no-bail warrant issued by the Sheriff's Department.
