Rain or shine, the 27th annual Ceres Street Faire takes place this weekend, May 2-3, in downtown Ceres.

The weekend event will kick off at 10 a.m. with a Saturday car show that goes until 3 p.m, on Fourth Street between Magnolia and North streets. Also starting at 10 a.m. the Faire will include arts & crafts booths, commercial booths, food booths operated by non-profit Ceres groups, live local entertainment and fun things for kids to do in the park.
Festivities end at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The fun continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A highlight will be Saturday's 2 p.m. raffle sponsored by the Ceres Unified School District Foundation. Four cash prizes totaling $2,000 and five prize packages valued at $500 or more are up for raffle.
